Embodied coaching is all about making positive change towards who you are and what you want in your life.
It can help you if you
Need help managing stress, anxiety and feelings of overwhelm
Want to resolve a negative relationship with your body and food
Have lost your sense of purpose and direction in life
Are struggling with self esteem issues
Feel unhappy in yourself despite 'nothing really being wrong in your life'
Are seeking recovery from an eating or exercise disorder
Our conversations start with where you're at and what's going on for you. We're forward focused from there - moving away from thoughts behaviours and beliefs that are getting in the way of you living life fully, and move instead towards more helpful ones that mean that you can.
My coaching kit bag contains many practices that I can draw from to support you. This ranges from NLP, CBT and counselling skills through to mindfulness and body awareness therapy. I have an embodied philosophy because I don't believe we can't simply 'think our way through feelings'. The body is always listening in and responding. Listening back can give us insight and awareness that we simply can't find elsewhere. It unlocks the strengths we already have within us and guides us towards what truly fulfils and supports us.
At the heart of my approach is seeing YOU first and foremost and supporting you to be you.
This means we go at your pace, without judgement or expectation, and sessions develop in ways that make sense to you. I come with no pre-determined structure or timescale to our working together. Instead we work collaboratively and build the best way forward for you during our sessions.
