Mind & Body Midlothian,
This workshop is designed to help you enjoy more mobility, openness and stability from your feet up. When we ‘find our feet’ as our solid and stable base we can experience more solidity and stability throughout our entire body.
We will start by exploring and understanding our feet with some gentle massage and release and then free up their movement with some simple mobilisation. As the workshop continues we will explore various standing positions and how our feet interact with the ground and connect with the rest of the body in each. More connection with the ground can bring a greater sense of calm, more lift through the arch can bring a greater sense of overall ‘lift’. Through our feet we can find the power to enjoy both energies as and when we need them.
Not only will you feel the benefit during and after the session but you will be taking home tools that you can easily use, any time, anywhere, to recreate this ease when you need it. You already have everything you need to do this: your body's natural movement.
The workshop will deal with specific issues such as bunions, plantar fasciitis, pronation / supination as is appropriate to those attending. ALL feet (and the humans connected to them!) are welcome.
