I firmly believe in the therapeutic power of talking with someone. Getting things out of our head and chatting them through with someone who is giving us space to do so and listening to us is in itself incredibly beneficial to our wellbeing.
With the right person supporting us, we can work though what is keeping us stuck, find our way out of that stuckness and move forward with more clarity, self awareness and skills to manage what life brings.
I am here to give you that space, listen without judgement to whatever it is that you are currently dealing with and help you move forward. I can help you to see where change can happen, what that might look like and then guide you through it.

Improving negative thoughts, feelings and behaviours about their body and / or food
Finding a sense of purpose and direction in life

We will start with where you are at now and work from there. My approach is generally forward focused - moving away from unhelpful thoughts, behaviours & feelings that are getting on the way of you living as full as life as you wish, and moving instead towards more helpful ones that mean you can. We may at times reflect back to your previous experiences in order to move forward, but we are not generally looking to delve into the past to understand 'why'. We are more intent on 'how' and 'where' to go from here.
Just as you are a completely unique, so too is our therapeutic process together. While I bring many tools, skills, knowledge and experiences to our conversations, at the heart of it, I see you first and foremost. I work with where you are at, who you are, and the challenges you are dealing with. I have no set structure that I use, or, predetermined plan, expectations or timescale. You are you, and helping you to thrive as YOU, is what I am here for.
