This time allows us to chat through what you are looking from therapy at the moment and if I might be the right person to support you. It gives us the opportunity to check that we connect and that you feel comfortable speaking with me. And it ensures that I will be able to meet you needs within my scope of practice. If for any reason we decide we're not quite right to work together then I am able to offer alternative therapy options that might be a better fit for you.
